Assembly Monitoring

To give the user direct feedback of their actions while using the Assembly, the monitoring service provides real-time metrics in the Monitoring tab of the Assembly view.

Monitoring data is displayed as live time-series charts directly in the veHaaS web UI.

Work in progress

Screenshots for the monitoring view need to be updated to reflect the current UI.

HAIGen1

The monitoring view shows measured current values for all power lines (input) of the terminal board, as well as the Controllino connection status. The current consumption chart is also visible on the Assembly Dashboard view, with the mapping of devices to power lines based on device supply voltages.

HAIGen2

With the HAIGen2, direct per-device monitoring is available.

Currently supported metrics:

  • Current on all 5 power lines (input) of the terminal board (HAIGen1)
  • Current on all 10 device channels (HAIGen2)
  • Amperage monitoring per device channel (HAIGen2, added v1.21.0)
  • Connection status of HAIGen1 and HAIGen2
  • All metrics displayed in the Monitoring tab of the Assembly view

Info

Measurement values are not accurate, thus only serve as a rough indication and feedback of user actions (turning devices on/off) or the DUT operational state based on a relative offset. The HAIGen2 provides significantly improved resolution and measurement accuracy compared to HAIGen1. If higher precision is needed, an Assembly can be updated with the HAIGen2.

Availability depending on the specific Assembly setup:

  • Monitoring of the evaluation board status pin (virtual status LED). This status requires the toggling of the dedicated pin in the application software. If and which pin is used can be found in the Assembly Setup tab.
