Portal Navigation

The documentation is structured into two tracks:

Service Descriptions & SLAs

Detailed specifications of functional scope, operational parameters, and service level commitments.

  • WebService (Platform) — The cloud-based central management platform (AS), REST APIs, automation interfaces, and platform-level availability SLAs. (Level 2 — Semi-Managed)
  • Hosting (Infrastructure) — Full-managed physical hosting of development workspaces and assemblies inside Vector's secure datacenters, including hardware integration, local network isolation, and hosting-specific SLAs. (Level 3 — Full-Managed, additive to L2)

Security, Privacy & Compliance

Information on data protection, architectural security, and compliance frameworks.

  • Security Concept & TOMs — Multi-layered security architecture, identity management, encryption standards, and Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs) under GDPR.
  • Certifications & Assessments — Security maturity overview, including MVSP compliance for the pilot phase and the roadmap toward CSA STAR certification.
  • Data Privacy — Personal data is processed in accordance with Vector's Privacy Policy. For data subject requests (access, deletion, correction), please contact Vector's data protection team via the link provided there.

Service Model Comparison

vHaaS is offered in two service levels. The Hosting package (L3) is additive — it includes the full WebService (L2) platform plus turn-key physical infrastructure managed by Vector.

Dimension Details
Primary Focus Orchestration, booking, control plane, and user management
Core Components Web Portal, REST APIs, CLI, vHaaS Agent
Responsibilities Vector manages the central platform. The customer operates local Execution Environments.
Security Scope AWS & Cloudflare best practices, WAF, SSO & MFA
Typical Audience Software developers, DevOps engineers, test architects
Dimension Details
Primary Focus Physical hosting of racks, hardware integration, and local network isolation
Core Components Physical racks, Execution Environments (NUCs), Assemblies (ECUs, relay cards, power supplies)
Responsibilities Vector manages both the platform and the physical hardware. The customer provides proprietary target hardware (ECUs, harnesses).
Security Scope Datacenter physical access controls, hardware-level network isolation, secure outbound tunnels
Typical Audience IT procurement, information security officers, external auditors

L3 includes L2

Choosing the Hosting (L3) package automatically includes the full WebService (L2) platform. Both service levels are governed by the respective service descriptions linked above.
